Customize StreamPad Audio Player WordPress Plugin
Streampad is a nice plugin for playing back all the mp3s on your website from your site’s home page, here’s an example. Problem is, the original Streampad that comes with your site has a pretty boring teal/metal color which doesn’t go well with a lot of theme’s color schemes. I’ll show you how to change the color of your player, its quite easy.
You’ll need to get FTP access to your site. Once you’re in, navigate to the folder WordPress is installed in and navigate to wp-content –> plugins –> streampad –> StreamPad.php (open with a text or php editor).
About halfway through the file you’ll find this code:
Within the text I have highlighted above, you can put in the HTML color code for your desired color for bgcolor, progressfrontcolor, and progressback color. Also you can put in the text you want to display on the player after “clicktext=”. Save the file and you’re done. You should now have a nice StreamPad player for your site. Enjoy!
